ATS Readiness

ATS Resume Checker for PMs

Every analysis includes an ATS readiness score with 8 individual checks. Built into the Resume Scorer and Job Fit, no extra steps needed.

How it works

Part of every analysis

Not a separate tool. Runs automatically with every Resume Score and Job Fit analysis. Score 0-100 with individual pass, fail, and warning checks.

📄
Step 01

Upload your resume

ATS checks run automatically alongside your full analysis.

🤖
Step 02

See ATS Readiness

"Well Optimized" or "Needs Work" at the top of every report. Expand for individual checks and keyword pills.

Step 03

Fix and resubmit

Fix with AI applies standard headers, spells out acronyms, and normalizes dates.

What we check

8 checks, scored individually

Each check gets pass, warning, or fail. The overall score is a weighted aggregate where formatting, headers, and keywords count most.

📋

Section Headers

Uses standard ATS-parseable headers (Experience, Education, Skills).

🔤

Acronyms

PM acronyms (OKR, PRD, GTM) spelled out on first use for keyword matching.

📏

Length

1 page for under 10 years, 2 pages max for 10+.

✏️

Spelling

Typos that confuse parsers and undermine credibility with humans.

📅

Date Consistency

All dates in the same format. Inconsistency breaks tenure calculations.

📐

Formatting

No tables, multi-column layouts, or images. Single-column only.

🔑

PM Keywords + Placement

Core PM terms present and appearing in experience bullets, not just a skills list.

🎯

JD Keyword Match

Job Fit mode: specific terms from the job description missing from your resume.

Will your resume pass automated screening systems?

All section headers use ATS-parseable names: Summary, Experience, Education, Skills.
HIPAA is fine (widely known), but PRD is used without being spelled out. Write 'Product Requirements Document (PRD)' on first use.
No spelling or grammar issues detected.
Inconsistent date formats: 'June 2024 - Present' vs 'Aug 2022 - May 2024'. Use the same abbreviated format throughout (e.g., 'Jun 2024').
Content appearing out of logical order in the Skills section suggests a multi-column layout. Multi-column layouts can cause ATS parsers to scramble content. Use a single-column list instead.
